Chris McComisky (D.O.B. October 1986)

Central defender who joined in November 2008 from Rushall Olympic. Chris represented the Staffordshire F.A. at U-18 level when he was with Hednesford Town, and he then spent over a season with Stourport Swifts before linking up with Rushall. He made a big impression straight away at Hillsfield and scooped all three Player of the Season awards in 2009.

Patrick Farrelly (D.O.B. February 1991)

Sponsored by

Central defender who came through the junior and youth team set-up at the club. 'Paddy' got a surprise call-up to the first team in March 2010 when he made his debut in a 5-1 win at Causeway United, and he remained in the team through to the end of the season.

Promising youngster who spent five years on the books of Stoke City as a junior, scoring over 100 goals for the Potters during that time. Primarily a central midfielder, Jack can also play in attack or defence. He made his debut for Brereton Social in the Midland Combination as a 15-year old, and linked up with Rocester at the start of the 2009-10 season.

Mark Hodson (D.O.B. August 1986)

Sponsored by

Energetic forward who will battle for every ball. Mark spent three years with Stone Dominoes, working his way up to the first team before moving to Meir K.A. for a year. However, his chances were limited due to injuries and he eventually signed for Rocester in the summer of 2006. A popular player at Hillsfield, he has made well over 100 appearances for the club and chipped in with some useful goals.

Luke Chapman (D.O.B. March 1991)

Sponsored by

Midfielder Luke worked his way through the youth ranks at Port Vale and made one first team appearance for the Valiants in the final game of the 2007-08 season at Southend United. Luke then suffered a broken leg which kept him out for most of the following season and he was eventually released in October 2009. He subsequently joined Hednesford Town before switching to Rocester prior to the current season.

Liam Holt (D.O.B. August 1991)

Sponsored by

Left-sided attacking midfielder who joined the Romans from Brereton Social in February 2010. Liam had a disastrous start to his career at Rocester when he was sent off barely 10 minutes into his debut after coming on as a substitute against Loughborough University. He then, however, settled in well and has become an integral part of the team with his goals and industry.

Christian Dacres (D.O.B. June 1987)

Sponsored by

Gifted central midfielder signed in December 2008. Christian played Conference football for Stafford Rangers after coming through the youth and reserve team ranks at Marston Road, and he has also played for Nantwich Town, Alsager Town and Stone Dominoes. Injury kept him out of the action for much of 2009 but he is now looking to put those problems behind him and realise his potential.

Connor Bird (D.O.B. July 1992)

Sponsored by

Promising young striker who spent four years with Norwich City as a junior. Connor joined the Romans in July 2010 after playing much of the previous season with Penkridge Town in the West Midlands League.

Steve Bennett (D.O.B. )

Sponsored by

Striker or right-midfielder who came through the youth set-up at Stone Dominoes before breaking into the first team. He then spent three seasons with Brocton where he was voted Young Player of the Year, and he picked up a Staffs F.A. Vase Runners-Up medal in 2008. Steve returned to Brocton following an 18-month stint with Biddulph Victoria, and then linked up with Rocester in July 2010.

Adam Hewitt (D.O.B. April 1990)

Sponsored by

Striker signed from local football in November 2008. Adam spent five years as a junior with Stoke City, and represented Staffordshire Moorlands District as a schoolboy. He has already enjoyed a lot of success in Sunday football, and is now looking forward to testing himself at a higher level with Rocester.
